I’ve been a huge Baroness Von Sketch fan since forever, so when I say I jumped at the chance to work with Meredith MacNeill and Jennifer Whalen on their new project Small Achievable Goals, I mean that literally. Like, I jumped up and down… and I think I squealed? I definitely twirled.
From the CBC Gem synopsis of the show: “A new comedy following Kris and Julie, two wildly different women on an unpredictable journey of transformation as they battle menopause, midlife and making a podcast – together.”

Working with MacNeill, Whalen, and team was a blast. And the synopsis above doesn’t do the show justice — as with Baroness, the series tackles taboo subjects (most specifically around menopause and perimenopause) with verve and humour and… teeth. Plus, the cast is incredible.
I learned a lot in the process. And laughed a lot. I hope you will, too.
My episode airs later this season, and when I have a link to it, I’ll throw it up here. But the series premieres on February 25th on CBC and CBC Gem, so CHECK IT OUT.
