I feel very grateful to have received some good news this morning — a nomination for a 2025 Canadian Screen Award for my work on the Children’s or Youth series Popularity Papers.

Writing on this series was a real blast, and I owe so much to my showrunner (and co-writer) Vivian Lin. She invited me on the series, and told me to have fun with our script… and that’s what I did.

Writing for kids can be a challenge, but knowing I had her support (and that we share the same ridiculous sense of humour) gave me the confidence to just dive in. Also super grateful to episode director Romeo Candido and the amazing cast and crew.

Onwards and upwards! Woo hoo! 🙂
