It’s the most wonderful time of the year!

The 2026 Banff World Media Festival is just around the corner, and the Netflix/Banff Diversity of Voices: Elevate program has been ramping up! Schedules are getting solidified, ads are going to print, meetings are getting set, and promotional materials are going live…

One piece of promotional material on this year’s cohort is the brand new DOV: Elevate podcast, which premieres today with its first ever episode — featuring yours truly and my frequent partner in creative crime, Jessica Meya!

I feel very grateful to have the opportunity to chat with host Vanessa Mitchell about my first forays into the industry and screenwriting, as well as discussing the creation of Macy Murdoch, my partnership with Meya, Gay Nerds, breaking in, and career longevity during these uncertain times.
