I had the pleasure of hosting the February 25th edition of the Writers Guild of Canada’s monthly podcast Writers Talking TV, with this instalment focusing on the historic CBC series Diggstown.
I got to chat with creator Floyd Kane and writers Lynn Coady and Ellen Vanstone about how the series confronts topics like race and class — all the while navigating the needs to a Canadian network procedural. It was fascinating, and I appreciate the writers for really opening up about their process.
