Woo hoo! It’s finally been announced! The fourth instalment of Slasher is coming to your screens in August on horror streamer Shudder, and will be called “Slasher: Flesh & Blood.”

And unlike the Netflix years, the episode rollout will be weekly, building suspense and giving the show a chance to generate a bit of good ol’ watercooler talk — I mean, if talking about gory, horrible murder around the watercooler is your thing, of course.

I had the extreme pleasure of writing the third episode of the season. Horror Maestro Ian Carpenter is back in the driver’s seat as showrunner this year, Adam MacDonald has returned as series director, and the writing staff included the lovely Lucie Page, Sabrina Sherif, and creator and EP Aaron Martin. And did you hear that a certain legend DAVID CRONENBERG is starring this year?
