Think about the “Unsolved Mysteries” theme. Not the reboot, the original — those creepy synths on top of those flickering, low-def images of crime and the paranormal. Well, I live for that stuff, and basically grew up on it. (I suppose that isn’t a surprise to anyone who knows me, or has read any of my work, or watched any show I’ve ever worked on. I have a brand, as the kids say.)

Well, pick up the latest copy of This Magazine, in which I have a new piece on my love of the true crime genre, and how it forged connections within my family. How could something so horrible be a comfort? Or be an expression of love? It’s an… unsolved mystery…
I’ll see myself out.
