Got some exciting news yesterday — my inclusion on a list in The Globe & Mail of twenty-five influential creatives in the Canadian television industry.

I’m still processing, largely because a) I rarely make any of these sorts of lists, and b) I’m deeply uncomfortable with attention. (I know, I know. Blogging about this seems somewhat at odds with that notion, but I’m still gonna celebrate the good stuff — as per my therapist’s suggestion, ha.)
Also, look at this list — Jennifer Kawaja, Bilal Baig, Jennifer Shin, Lea Marin, Jennifer Podemski, Kadon Douglas, Tom Hastings, Tara Woodbury, Stephanie Azam, Clement Virgo, Marsha Greene… I break a sweat sharing a room with these folx, let alone a list like this!

Much love to Radheyan Simonpillai for including me. I feel very grateful to be able to do what I do, so everything else is icing on the cake.
Plus, now I have something I can print out and give to my mother. See? That film degree (and several years of retail and service jobs, plus moving back into my parents’ house because I couldn’t afford rent) was worth it!
A higher res look at the print edition if the online version is inaccessible:
